BY TRAIN

If you are not travelling from Kuala Lumpur (more information here), the Sepang International Circuit can be reached by train by following these instructions:

Step 1: Starting point

From Penang or Ipoh
Take the ETS (Electric Train Service - you can buy tickets here) from Penang, Ipoh, or other northern cities to KL Sentral. From KL Sentral, transfer to the KLIA Ekspres or KLIA Transit train heading to KLIA.

From Johor Bahru
Take the ETS or Intercity Train to KL Sentral and follow the same connection as above.

Step 2: KLIA Ekspres/KLIA Transit

From Kuala Lumpur Sentral (KL Sentral), take either the KLIA Ekspres (tickets here) or the KLIA Transit train. Both trains connect KL Sentral to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) in around 28-35 minutes. KLIA Ekspres is non-stop, while KLIA Transit has a few stops along the way.

Step 3: From KLIA to Sepang International Circuit

Once you arrive at KLIA, you can take a taxi, Grab, or bus to the circuit, which is located about 15 minutes from the airport. There are no direct train services to Sepang International Circuit, so this last leg by car or bus is necessary.
