One of the most pleasant surprises of the 2022 MotoGP season was Marco Bezzecchi's standout performance as he secured the Rookie of the Year title by a considerable margin. His impressive results, including his first podium finish and debut pole position, earned him a well-deserved contract extension with VR46 Racing.

In 2023, Bezzecchi took another significant step forward, winning three races and finishing an outstanding third in the championship standings. Although the 2024 season didn't unfold as positively for the Italian rider, the upcoming 2025 campaign presents an exciting new challenge as he joins the Aprilia Racing team.
